Suit Measurement Guide: Printable Version:
1. Do wear a good fitting dress-shirt and slack. If you do not have these items, any form-fitting clothing will suffice. No jeans and empty your pockets! 2. Please stand and breathe normally during measuring. Do not blow in or out, stomach & chest. 3. When taking measurements the tape should be held flat against the body; it should be held snug enough so not droop, but never so tight as to feel restrictive. 4. All measurements should be taken to the nearest quarter (.25) inch. 5. Do not add wiggle room to your measurements. We will adjust the fit based on your selected preferences and build. All measurements are “skin measurements”.
1. Jacket Length		2. Shoulder
	size : inches Measure the jacket length at front. Measure from the shoulder seam near the neck over the stomach, down to the desired length. A good help is to measure down to the horizontal level of the finger tips when the fingers are bent in. Watch out for persons with long/short arms!!		size : inches Measure from the end of the left shoulder to the end of the right shoulder. We define the “End of the Shoulder” as where the horizontal plane of the shoulder intersects the vertical plane of the arm (see illustration).

3. Sleeves		4. Chest
	size : inches Measure from the end of the shoulder to the “Pinch” of the hand. The “Pinch” of the hand is found where the base of the thumb and the base of the index finger intersect (approximately 1 inch above the index finger knuckle).		size : inches Measure around fullest part of the chest. Be relaxed when measuring and do not tighten the measurement tape. Measure at the widest point.

This will be cut with exact measurement given by you.		• Measure around the chest and body at its fullest part (typically right under the armpits and shoulder blades, right across the nipples). • Hold the tape against the body good enough so that it does not slip down. • Make sure the tape is horizontal and the person's arms are by their side; then take a normal breath and measure. • Do not puff out your chest • We will give allowance based on your fitting preferences.
5. Waist		6. Hips
	size : inches Measure around the widest part of the waist. Be relaxed when measuring and do not tighten the measurement tape. 7. Front Chest		8. Back
	size : inches Measure from one armpit to another armpit in front. Start at the front of your right armpit, continue measuring across the nipples, and then stop at the front of your left armpit. Do not measure under the arms.		size : inches Measure from one armpit to another armpit at back. Start at the back of your left armpit, continue measuring across the shoulder blades, and then stop at the back of the right armpit. Do not measure under the arms.

	size : inches Please wear a good pair of trouser when measuring as it is very important to find out the real waist line before start measuring. Do not give any ready to wear size.		size : inches Measure around the hips at the widest point of seats. Be relaxed when measuring and do not tighten the measurement tape. Make sure the trouser pockets are empty before applying the tape measure.
• Measure around the waist line where you intend to wear the trouser. Measure around your waist at the level where you would normally wear your pant’s belt. • With the tape measure snug around your waist, relax, and take the measurement. • Don't be alarmed if this measurement seems larger than expected; off-the-rack pants are normally labelled as being smaller than what they really are. • This will be cut with exact measurement given by you. 3. Crotch		4. Trouser Length
	size : inches Measure the crotch from the desired waist-line in front to the desired waist-line in back. Keep the measurement tape as loose as you desire, allow as much space needed for comfort, plus ½ inch. This will be cut with exact measurement given by you.		size : inches Measure from top of Waistband to bottom of cuff (desire length). Please stand up straight, do not be tempted to look down as this will affect the measurement, and use a mirror to look instead. We generally recommend that the measurement runs down to where the upper body of the shoe meets the sole. This will be cut with exact measurement given by you.
5.Thigh		6. Cuff
	size : inches Measure around the upper (thickest) part of the thigh. Please give the exact measurement & we will give allowance based on your fitting preferences. You need to measure only one side.	size : inches Trouser bottoms should ideally harmonize with the shoes, covering between 1/2 and 2/3 of their surface. One tip is to measure the cuff of some trousers you like the cut of. To do this simply lay them flat, measure one side and then double the measurement. As a guide 16-17 inches can be construed as slim or tapered (be careful you can get your foot through though!), 18-19 as standard, and 19+ as boot cut going to flared.
